Look for the Opticians sign on Poland Street and head up the stairs to the low-lit cocktail bar. An electric interior with a vintage twist of antique mirrored ceilings, reclaimed wooden chairs and a copper-topped bar creates a comfortable environment, full of character, where you can unwind with friends, family or colleagues.

The bar team specialise in technical cocktails complete with beautiful garnishes, but the list ranges from creative to classic to suit all tastes. Favourites include a unique take on Harry Potter’s Butterbeer and the Rola Cola made with Amaro Angostura, Mount Gay, Bacardi Carta Negra, cherry and lime cola tea. Beers, fine wines and spirits are also available.

Pair your cocktails with tasty snacks from a bar food menu by Social Eating House’s Executive Head Chef Paul Hood. Comforting dishes include the Cumbrian spiced hotdog with onion jam, pickled cabbage and piccalilli and the SEH spiced fried chicken with lime & chilli yoghurt and pickles, both perfect accompaniments when enjoying drinks.
