Nutrition and quality are the core values that have always been the driving force behind the Billy + Margot range of premium dog treats. Named after two treat loving Labradors, Billy + Margot first launched its unique range of dog friendly iced treats in 2012 and achieved widespread TV and media publicity.
Soon after the launch founder Marie appeared on Dragons’ Den and received investment from Deborah Meaden. This began a three year expansion programme with many new products added to the range including raw venison treats, popcorn, fish treats, hand baked biscuits and complete wet food.
With her background in nutrition, Marie was alarmed to find so little nutritional value in conventional dog food and treats. Dogs love human ice cream, but it contains a host of ingredients that play havoc on the canine digestive system. Billy + Margot iced treats are dairy free, packed with natural, human grade ingredients with an emphasis on canine health. Her Labradors could now enjoy their guilty pleasure, with all the guilt removed.
What started as a simple idea to help her beloved pets Billy + Margot enjoy healthy treats has now become a global business.
